Honestly, [this translation][better translation] is just better. I
wrote this when I was 16.
# English
A bit of rain drops / Lead colored clouds gather to hide the shadows
The cicada's song conceals / and wind chimes resound throughout
The umbrella carrying person walks quickly / sings an unimpressive melody, and gets wet
At the end of the humid way black hair flutters in the wind
"Are you hurried?" / If the song is neverending, then
I want it to turn to a powerful hail.
Split through the air, and strike through the ground
Shake a bit in the gap
Hundreds of marks / The sun's eye is shooting
The revitalizing sound of summer melts through
The burned road's scars stay uncovered / brings about unfinished glass
Kicked and stepped upon twilight / The evening cicadas gather
Light doth gather in those eyes, but one blink and poetry is forgotten
Picked up hail is thrown, and hidden by the dusk
This song which the standards just call "noise,"
I want it to turn to ear-captivating thunder.
One's path in life etched into memory, its form starts to get lost over time
Grab onto tranquility tightly
Rainfall comes to a stop everywhere
so this hail may pile up.
Split through the air, and strike through the ground
Shake a bit in the gap
Hundreds of marks / The sun's eye is shooting
The revitalizing sound of summer melts through
