!meta title="Deceiver"
Deceiver is an unreleased game which takes place in the [[deceiver
universe|dims/deceiver]] in 1344, New Era. There are several small drafts for
the story, although no game or definitive story yet.
# May 2016 First Draft
This is the most extensive draft still extant for Deceiver, and also the first
one written. It also is the most poorly written and is very pretentious and
stupid. (I was 16 when I wrote this.) Some elements of it have been re-purposed
for lithium.

# June 2016 New Draft
This draft was intended to be expanded upon, but I forgot to do so after I fell
asleep directly after writing it. Most of the elements of this draft are more
in line with the current vision of the story, although if the same could be
said about the then-potential expansions I'm not sure.

# August 2016 Mini-Draft
This is a tiny draft intended to be the first text seen in the game. This
actually sort of reminds me of Steins;Gate's introduction, although more
hopeful and less horrifying.
> I remember these things.

> War...
> Strife...

# 2017
During the year 2017 I had major depressive episodes which kept me from writing
anything, so no drafts were written in this period.
# 2018 Lost Draft
This draft was lost due to a hard-drive formatting error. It was dozens of
pages long and was intended to be a full draft of the final story to be put
into the game. The quality of writing was questionable and it meandered about
the plot significantly, however it provided a lot of character development
which none of the other drafts to date have.
# May 2019 Gods Draft
A sort of overview of the driving forces within the story. Not intended to be
used, as it's just idea venting.
> The Gods delivered us new hope in a declining era, a new mode, a new
> possibility. We found comfort in our new metaphysically solidified world, and
> until the Calamity, all was well.
>
> The Calamity is considered to be the worst part of the story. I disagree.

> And we fear them. The Gods cannot exit their realm, but neither can we. We

!meta title="Fuck Super Shotguns"
Fuck Super Shotguns is a mod for GZDoom which takes place in the [[deceiver
universe|dims/deceiver]] in 1652, New Era. The ZDoom Forums thread can be found
[here.](https://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=48670)
# Summary of Events
Ten years after the lithium, due to concepts/ragnarök
taking place, dims/hell was able to create a pathway through [[the
void|dims/void]] and back into the Deceiver Universe from there. An endless
invasion of demons constantly plagues humanity, and few are able to fight them.
orgs/ofmd, the orgs/uac and the orgs/uaaf merge in order to launch
a large-scale counter-attack against the forces of Hell.
An unnamed PMC recruit is sent into the heart of The Void, where high-order
scientist for OFMD chars/adaml and General chars/stanb guide him
through missions far above his head. By some measure of luck, he gets through
it, and is instructed to rescue captive engineers in an overtaken UAC base,
after which he is sent to a city on Earth to push back invading demons and find
an *object*.
During this final mission, the unnamed soldier is sent into the realm of the
arch-demon chars/sorhxp. After defeating the beast, a giant amount of
concepts/darkenergy is scattered throughout the atmosphere, and the soldier
is returned to his mission. The cycle inevitably continues 10 years later.
# Extra Release Synopsis
In 2017, an "extra release" was made for FSS which in its forum post included a
synopsis of the unfinished story.
> The beast names himself Sorrow, in his tongue. Sor'h Xoda Pratium. He
> appeared first to me in a power outage during a mission; as he slayed through
> all of the marines around me, whom at this point had all but disappeared from

>
> "You have underestimated your nightmares, as if they are only dreams."
>
> "Deliver my message and you may be spared. Heed this request or perish in
> eternity."
>
> I blacked out. As I shook myself from unconsciousness, a few friends greeted
> me...
